A Worthwhile Proposal.
Hi All,
This Proposal was brought up at "Forest Edge " Vic. Weekend. A well known Ballarat Woody wanted this put out to see if anyone can make this idea work, Again?.
Back in the early '90's Our Neil, had a " Woodies Swap Meet " or a Buy, Swap & Sell Day at Welshmans Reef, up Castlemaine / Newstead, Vic. way. This was a fantastic Day for Woodies, & they came from near & far.
From 8am.- 1.45pm. there wood have been 4000 +- people there.
So Brian is wondering if this can be Revived, say by a Wood Club, most likely a reasonable central area, in Vic.
Things to be considered wood be, Location, Venue & Time of Year.

as a regular swap meet attendee, I like the idea
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

I like the idea Perhaps the times could be moved a couple of hours to a bit later in the day say 10am to 2:30pm to help the travellers.

Yes, that could work, but when the other one was going, a Bus load came from Wangaratta?, & they made it just after it started.
