spoke wheel jig
i made a modified version of a wheel jig that someone had here on the forum it works perfect for me , i made some wheel stands to go under the wheel it helps when i drill the holes for the spokes it makes a good support for the wheel.my templates for different numbers of spoke and degree are made of 1/4 birch plywood. with this jig i can make a wheel size up to 4 inches.it mounts to the drill press table and can be adjusted for correct alignment for drilling the holes in the wheel.i can even drill the hubs on it .i have 4 lock nuts that keeps the shaft from moving from side to side these are the pictures , and a wheel i made with it today hope you enjoy2013_0107yardback0001.jpg2013_0107yardback0002.jpg2013_0107yardback0003.jpg2013_0107yardback0004.jpg2013_0107yardback0005.jpg2013_0107yardback0006.jpg2013_0107yardback0007.jpg2013_0107yardback0008.jpg2013_0107yardback0009.jpg
