G'Day mate
Hi all, newbie just joined from West Yorkshire in the UK
Be prepared for many beginners questions
Bought many power tools before realising how much more pleasure there seems to be from hand tools, now starting to figure out which way up to use them

Cheers John
Looks like the IE issue for you was just that the site was running in IE9 compatibility mode
Any one else having this posting error with IE, turning off compatibility mode seems to work

We have a few members from UK on the forum as well as across the rest of the world..
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.

Welcome to the forum and it seems that you know our little Johnny.
One point for the hand tools is the sharp ends normally points away from you. But not all the time.
