    Default safety bump switch

Not sure if this is the right part of the forum, but here goes anyway. I want to put a bump type safety switch onto my Torque work centre, Preferably it would have a socket that I can plug various power tools into one at a time. Or be able to cut the power off to a socket that would be separately mounted.

I cannot find anything suitable via online searching, and carba tec, gregory's etc don't have anything like this. Does anyone know where you can buy these type of switches?

Wink Safety bump (emergency stop) switch

    Ditto

    Emergency stop | eBay

Not sure if copy and paste will work with a link?

anyhow eBay search "emergency stop" $5 free ppostage otherwise any electrical wholesaler. You don't say what size motor you are turning on and off. If the eBay item is not rated for enough amps you could wire it up through a relay

Usual disclaimers about working with 240V electricity.

I got a few of these from axmister.co.uk, they need to be hard wired.

They also have a device that can be used directly with power tools (but note the UK style plug). Cheaper than anything I've found locally even after you pay a sparky to change the plug.
