Got some good photos of cockroach land from canetoad mountains yesterday
(south facing lookout from springwood in Qld)

Get some pics on tonight hopefully.
Saw the coldest kookaburra I ever seen up there.
All fluffed up and reluctant to move, could get within arms length of it quite easily.
aaahhh
Queensland weather, perfect one day - wet the next.

Yeah its been tough on them at the Gold Coast, their water supply is real low.
The Hinze dam on the Nerang river is only 80% full. I'll post a pic later
