Who am I: Number VI (Zugzwang)
What is my name.

I am a state (a state of affair). A state that a person, or commander, or leader, or victor, or opponent may be placed in or find themselves in.

When someone, some group, some army, finds itself in my state then they have only one choice .. to move to their disadvantage. There is no way out to their advantage. I am often found/used in chess.

I am German in origin.
