Thread: Cool Brand-marks on Tools
-
21st January 2013, 03:56 AM #31
There is a tool catalogue here: (Tyzack Genealogy) and I know I have read quite a long and interesting history in this site somewhere. It was a while ago - and I can't remember where the link to it came from either.
The name has links to Australia, I remember.
(Ray's website links to the catalogue, but something else dropped me in on the history stuff)
Cheers,
Paul

Cool Brand-marks on Tools
Mawhood 'Parasol', Sheffield.
It's been stamped twice, making it a bit confused but still a cool brand.
...I'll just make the other bits smaller.

I meant to post these when this thread first came up:

Some carvings chisels I picked up when in Japan a little while ago. Absolutely no idea of the brand.....they are both branded the same.
