    Could someone please tell me what Bump means in context to a post I know I am thick but just would like to know for sure.

    Bump it to the top of the unread posts list. Posts are listed from newest to oldest.
    Instead of Bump posters often use TTT, which is To The Top of the list.
    Those were the droids I was looking for.

    It is used to bring a post up to the top of the list of new posts. Mainly used for events like Woodworking shows etc.
