Went to book my car in for some parts to be replaced yesterday and do you think I could remember the whatcha-me-callit that goes around the water pump? I ended up after about 15 seconds of my brain going dead and calling it a rubber band. :confused:

Felt like a real goose, I know my way around cars a fair bit but couldn't think of the correct word, fanbelt.

generally when looking for these things there will be references to that small chinese gentleman who lives in the back of the clothes dryer and knocks off all your right socks. Sometimes the small chinese gentleman is falsley accused of many crimes .

Yerss - know who you mean. He was an invisible member of an engineering drawing office where I worked many years ago. His identity was frequently called into question. As in:

"Eh! (insert name of small Chinese bloke) has pinched me bloody pencil!'

and

"Which one of you (insert family name of small Chinese bloke)s has moved me scale rule?!?"
