Amazon operate in various modes. Some lines are stocked in their warehouses and shipped from there, while for other lines they act as order takers, and the product is drop shipped direct from the US distributor/manufacturer. If the US distributor/manufacturer has a local distributor in OZ, they frequently opt to protect their OZ distributor and refuse to ship retail purchased goods here. There is not an issue if the goods are normally sourced from the Amazon warehouses, unless the goods have transport restrictions .e.g. some Lithium battery packs are not acceptable as air freight.

Hope this helps explain why they will ship some goods her and not others.
I used to be an engineer, I'm not an engineer any more, but on the really good days I can remember when I was.

Yep partially, i got the 1000HD from amazon and then the metric conversion kit. After setting it up i love it. So happy to put my original mitre guage away permanently. As I'm using a contractor saw I'm going to build a left out feed table so i can support larger work pieces and the Mitre guage. I love how smooth it slides and accurate the repeat cuts are. Very happy )

I was fortunate to pick up the metric kit from a friend who bought the 10pack from incra. I paid $10 for it. Think the whole 10 pack conversion kit is roughly 30 plus shipping. Hope that helps
