Default Repair vic ash counter tops?

I spent hours trying to find my previous questions on how to repair my bath rum sink counter top and my kitchen counter top.

But kept getting sidetracked on the palithra of high quality of info on these forums.

we've finally completed the upstairs renos and are slowly moving back in.

This bathroom has been crowded over the last few months and is in real need of some repairs. The lady is away on business over the next few weeks so its an opportune time to get this done.

Any step be step instructions would be greatly appreciated.
I'd like to get started first thing Monday morning.

thnaks for the super fast reply.

    would prefer do without dismantling.
as far as i can tell you can't remove the counter top as the tiles are installed around three sides.

alhough the hot n cold water pipes have been replaced with the flexible tubing,
there are no shut of valves under the sink. I wonder how hard it would be to install them now.

My plan at the moment in to turn off the house water at the foot path,
install the shut off valves under the sink, turn the house water back on,
turn the shut off valves off, remove the faucet and taps n sink, then start sanding and filling, then staining and lacquer?

    type of shut off valves?
how to sand using what grits?
    how to stain?
    how to lacquer?
    Thanks,

Finally found one of my previous posts after 6 hours of searching.

I could have sworn I had posted pics before and got a details response.

    Still looking.

At one time I had purchased a uBeaut Book on polishing but can't seem to find it either.
Might be packed away for renos.
    Thanks,
