finish 5 layers of DO. did a wet sanding using mineral oil as lubricant for finishing stage.
lastly did a few rounds of wipe down using paint thinner but the couldnt get rid 100% of the oily residue. suspect the wood has a slight open pores..
planning to wax as top coat.
but surface still oily and am afraid the wax will have bonding issues.
any ideas on this
