Default CTC arbor for slitting saw

CTC advertise their arbors as being suitable for slitting saws.

Well, they're undercut at the shoulder and that aint no good...the blade wont be held centrally.

Make a thick washer to pack it up so that it misses the undercut seems to be in order.?

For the collar on the nut/bolt end, can it be flat across the face on the side where it mates to the saw blade, or should it have a shoulder and recess like that as shown in the sketch?

    Hi Eskimo,
I would only make up a washer to just cover the that undercut, leaving plenty of arbour to different thickness of saws.
With the washer on the other end you will need it reassessed other wise it wont close up enough to clamp the blades it.
A bit disappointing to see that reassess since it's sold as a slitting saw arbour, maybe it should be renamed to a mill cutter arbour.
