Dust collection aid?
I have had a lot of crud and dust blow into my side shed for ages and the missus finally got tired of cleaning it up. One day while out shopping she found a brush specialist, and came home with 3m of brush material and directed me to install it, which I did, but on the shed instead
- pic 1.
When I was cleaning up I looked at the 100mm offcut and began to think - pic 2. If this was all the way around the shroud it would allow the material in but help to keep the dust down.
What do you reckon?
Couple of links here and here, search under "strip brushes au" in Giggle.

I thought I was going to pics of your dust collection.
Cliff.
If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.

Can't see why it wouldn't work, but I would be swapping the guard to a see through one so that you can see what's happening in there.

I'ved used it in a couple of machines that I made to enclose cutter heads where a solid guard was not possible. It worked really well and I would use it again.
Have a nice day - Cheers

Well, here we are a few years down the road and how did it go? The concept sounds good, however would you recommend doing it, or not?

I've had the brush on the front for a while now and it stops a lot of dust shooting forward if I adjust the guard correctly. I find that I am lazy, and covered with dust
