I thought they were great too Crowie.
There was much treasure to choose from on Sunday. Pat brought about half his shed along, Brett had a massive clean out and Pac Man produced a huge box of give aways.
I got a large leather chisel roll off Pat as well as a saw vice (which I forgot to pick up and Pat had to wrestle Ozhunter to rescue it for me Thanks Pat )
I also got some holt melt glue and a Rabone folding wooden rule (for miniarcher) from Brett and a freebie systainer which I haven't decided what I will use it for yet.
I'm still debating whether I need Adam's cutting gauge. I reckon he left it at Brett's just to tempt me. (Don't tell him but his plan is working) Although I'll need a discount now that the box got wet
Those were the droids I was looking for.

My apologies go to you NCA. I get really distracted and cant finish sentences when a garage sale fresh 604 1/2 Bedrock with a berg blade gets pulled out with in a 2m radius.

No joy at Springwood in case you were wondering

It wasn't even in his line of sight. We were sitting and chatting when he suddenly stopped. Lifted his face and sniffed the air. "Someone's got a Bedrock" he says. "And I can't be certain but I think I caught a whiff of Berg"
It was a bit scary to be honest.

    ???

Did anybody actually remember to take anything home .

Really good to hear of a group of partial strangers and acquaintances with common ground hitting it off together. Wish I'd been there.

By the way, what was the attraction to the rather popular glue sticks? They were clearly the right price because by around 11.30 I had to go and claim my own 10, but there seemed to be something else?

Was it the length, which I don't think is available in general hardwares stores?

Were all the purchasers turners, or specifically pen turners?
