Renovate then Raise?
Hi,
I'm in the final process of purchasing a Queenslander. Just called the council and they said it will take a few weeks to get the raise approved. Including drafting and design, I estimated it will take 2 months. So I'm considering renovating the kitchen (new tiles, benches, sinks, taps - the whole lot), bathroom and getting the floors sanded and varnished. I called a house raiser and he said he can raise a house without breaking a tile.
Does this means I can renovate and raise later? Or is this a bad idea?
Like to know your opinion.
