Default Maybe Help with IE 9

    DUNNO

This may help with Internet Explorer 10 for sure and maybe IE 9.

Just click on "Tools" and then "Compatibility View" while on this site. IIRC, this was necessary for IE 9 also. With IE 10, it keeps track of which sites need Compatibility View and then enables the mode only on sites that need it. (I don't remember about IE 9.)

The symptom that I encountered was that the 'Return' key did nothing in posts. I enabled Compatibility View and made this post without a problem.

    Rich,

    Seems to work.

I don't post that often but when I do I have just switched to Chrome, but I still prefer IE 10 as my default browser.
I hadn't given the compatibility option much thought but I've just set it up and this post is via IE 10
