Protecting the bikes
Ok, so I'm starting to design the layout for my new workshop and am running in to a small problem. I thought I would be able to store my 2 motorbikes elsewhere, but that plan has fallen thru. So, now I'm gonna have to work out a way to keep them as dust free as possible.
For starters, I'm gonna be getting a decent 2hp dust collector and setting up required ducting. Second, the bikes will be living under proper waterproof bike covers. These don't give them complete protection, but do help in keeping most of the dust out.
I have considered hanging tarps or plastic from the ceiling around the bikes, but the garage door (tilting door the full width of 6 meters) would get in the way.
Also looking at air filtration options. Total space is about 110 cu.M, so many of the off the shelf filter units seem a bit overkill.
Any ideas?

Ride the bikes more, I find that keeps the dust off just fine.

You have to remember that short of using an airtight plastic lined room, most buildings leak live sieves and everything inside a conventional structure continually generates dust.
Every exposed surface will need to be painted (BTW Paint and plastic also makes dust), anything fibrous will need to be sealed inside a plastic bags.
Titadoors are also problematic at keeping external dust out, so a DC will not necessarily solve all your problem.
110 m^3 works out to be a 6 x 6 x 3 m shed. If you want to locate your DC outside your shed you will need to carefully layout your machinery along one wall and minimize ducting length or use a 3HP DC. A 2HP can only grab the fine dust if it is used close to a machine but then you face the problem of leaks injecting dust back into the shed.
If you wanted to reduce building generated dust these will help as you could set them up to run every day for an hour or so.
I don't think anything will really stop the dust to the degree you are after other than some form of covering.
