I noticed that too. Maybe we should start one of those e-petitions

I can just see the tournament referee stood there with duct tape spread out between his hands.

You mean the screamers will look at you with a silver X across the kisser and the silent ones will be able to flash their gold fillings at you when they give their winning smiles?

Apparently these people don’t scream on practice court. Can someone confirm?

I've been searching through the net and the following seems to confirm what you are saying:

I got a sweater for Christmas. Pity, I would have preferred a screamer or a moaner.

Someone said on the radio, why go to the tennis to hear this noise when you can just stand outside a brothel and hear the same thing.

Paul, you have to also remember the degrees of difficulty - love 15, love 30, love 40 and for the real experts, love all.

I missed that one. Love all ( where's the swoon smilie when you want it?). Then there's the doubles too.

Sorry, sorry, sorry . I'm trying to be good, but it's so, so hard. Remember that song (was it Chuck Berry?) "Oh Lord.........."

I'm being humble and Jim shame on you for implying such things. You are going to get me thrown in the sin bin through no fault of my own . (BTW I notice Cliff is conspicuous by his absence or perhaps he has already been and gone .)

Fact is, there was a time when a grunt was a copper; Now it's a means of gaining an edge, but not without a certain innuendo it would appear. I would go back to an earlier comment of mine and raise the question "Is it contrived?"
