Default Sanding/Finishing the inside of a Burl

    G'day,
I'm looking for advise on how to finish the inside of a Burl that is freeform in shape. I've got it down to a reasonably finish using the cupped buff (tyre buffer), but now I want some sort of sanding pad/buff that will free form to the curve of the bowl... any suggestions?

Also what should I use to seal/finish the Burl?

    Thanks

    Rod

You could try sanding pads in a drill
    here
    and work through the grits

You will probably have to finish off hand sanding

as for a finish, on possibility is a danish oil here
or you could use a nitrocellulose spray on product

I like the "cupped buff" . What is that? Does it have a grit in it?

I'm with Tea Lady... what the hell is a 'tyre buffer' and where do you get them?

Also agree with danish oil. I put Trad wax over it as well. Nice and shiny without too much elbow grease.

Googling "cupped buffer" or "tyer buffer only gets doughnut shaped ones.

Re the tyre buff is what is used to rough/buff the inside of a tyre prior the placing a patch on it. They are avaliable from Rema Tip Top the tyre repair equipment suppliers.
