Jet Table Saw
Hi everyone,
I'm looking at buying a second hand Jet 10"Supersaw, the model number is JWSS-10LFR. Jet don't make this saw anymore and the seller will be throwing in a CMT dado blade and a few other blades. The saw has a sliding table on it and it also comes with a mobile base. I was wondering if anyone has used this saw and what their thoughts are on it?
Thanks very much
Steven

There a quite a few happy Jet Super Saw owners on the forums. If you do a search you will find some threads relating to the saw. Here are some below.

G'day Steven, I'd be one of the happy Jet super saw owners mentioned by Andy.
Mine is the pedestal model not the contractor model you are looking at.
Mine is six years old and I've never had a problem with it. It has been one of my best investments and never a regret.
The quality and accuracy has always been first class.
The dado blade thrown in is a good score, they are expensive new.
If the price is fair I would recommend you go for it.
Cheers, Ian"The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot.. it can't be done.
If you deal with the lowest bidder it is well to add something for the risk you run.
And if you do that, you will have enough to pay for something better"

I am a supersaw user for almost 7 years and I can say it is a very good tablesaw.

Thanks very much for the good reports for the saw. The person is asking $500 and it looks like it is in good shape.
Is that a fair price because i haven't been able to find out how much it cost new because it is no longer produced?

It is a great price if it has no major issues. They were around $1800.

I've got a supersaw - the cabinet style, not the contractor saw. It is great. No problems. Go for it!
