    'Fraid not from that quarter. If you read my first response again, you will see that I explained the registration of dominoes over length quite clearly. Sorry you missed the point.
    Using pencil marks for registration is common and is my method as well. As for not using dominoes for long boards, you're just compensating by using a belt sander. Rather use dominoes. Less work, better finish. However, if your happy with your system, good for you. But I doubt Ian or I have learnt anything.

    Happy with my method.

    I still remember fondly the days Rick frequented this forum looking for ideas.

    Nothing wrong in you doing it the hard way, Like Friedman said, we should be free to chose. Must be great not to have to sand your table tops.
