Has anyone got one, used one or have an opinion on carba-tec 13" spiral thicknesser?
I'm looking for a small portable thicknesser and they look interesting but was hoping that someone with more experience might offer a few pearls of wisdom or witty anecdotes (or just some of their experiences).
Am i better off with a non spiral at the same price (my assumption being that everything else on a non-spiral could be of a better quality to get the same pricepoint)?

No idea really, but I've heard the spiral thicknesser heads are brilliant-efficient & quieter than standard straight blades, and worth around $650 or so for a head.
