Biological Control
Well .. clean-up anyway. I couldn't think of any other forum for this ...
Despite the treatment around the house foundations, I sometimes find termites in the odd location around the yard.
I'm always keeping an eye out for it.
BobL once said he lived near a 300m long termite colony.
I think Armadale possibly *is* a termite colony.
In any case - by accident a while ago - I found that the marvelous little black ants were grateful - indeed eager - for a massive all-you-can-eat banquet.
Pick up the shopping ...
And stick it in the pantry.

Chooks are partial to termites too.
Or you could get yourself a couple of echidnas.
Spare the poisons where possible, They can be more trouble than their targets.
