Default Searching in the Metalwork Forum

I had a quick look and this issue doesn't seem to have been raised here yet. There is a problem with the search function in the Metalwork forum. I just tried a search for the term "EE-SPY" which is a part number I knew had been posted in a Metalwork thread. It returned 0 results. However the term appears a number of times in this thread:

The forum doesn't search on words with 3 or less characters, so that'd by why you got zero results.

Yeah I know, but EE-SPY is six characters. Or is the dash ignored?

    Yes the dash is ignored.

Other option is to use Google instead, copy and paste following line into Google.

    "EE-SPY" site:www.woodworkforums.com

Just tried it my self and search results show this thread and the one you quoted above.
    Cheers
