    Default Howdy all!

    hey there everyone,
thought i better introduce myself, just joined up the other day.
in my first year of uni (at 27years old haha) studying a bachelor of education, design and technology. loving it!

have a metal work background, but through my studies im starting to develop a love for this funny soft stuff called wood
i think it comes from the appreciation of the time and effort it takes to create something nice. not just a slap together and weld kind of scenario.

ill post a couple of photos of what ive made recently.

    oilstone box

    oilstone box again

    breaky tray

japanese stool.... for the cat apparently.

will update with the bedside cupboard, and hallway table once theyre complete.
    anyway, thats me guys..

    thanks,
    beags

    G'Day & welcome beagles,
Wow you sure have done some very nice work, great photos and tech savy to boot.....well done indeed.
Keep sharing the photos & showing off your handiwork as everyone loves to see photos, especially WIP photos with build notes.
From the quality of your work you'll be very able to contrubite to the helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies who assist when asked.
    Enjoy the forum.
    Continue to enjoy your woodwork.
    Cheers, crowie

Firstly, thanks all for the warm welcome!
Definately a weath of info and ideas on here that I can access, and hopefully share some of my novice ideas/works...

Ive realised I need to take more WIP shots, as theyve been the photos that Ive enjoyed lurking most on the forum
But does get a little wierd when Im at TAFE taking photos of every step hahaha.

Hopefully Ill have some spare money for tools, and get some photos of the simple stuff ill make at home!

    Yew yew
