    Default Do we dis-own Kostya?

Has he brough shame to a nation by losing to a Pom? do we now dis-own him?

(I am only joking by the way...)

I didnt see the fight but understand it was a good fight and he did lose graciously.

I saw the interview with the winner (by default of course) and he looked like he was the victim of several muggings and a few severe car accidents, didn't see the loser.

Kostya did us proud no matter what, both behaved as true professionals, great sportsmanship, and true gentlemen of the highest order. The English Champion also made the British people proud from all accounts

While I'm not a huge boxing fan, I've got a lot of time for Kostya. He's a great champion, a gentlemen and I'm glad he chose my country to call home.

    Cheers

And the best pound for pound fighter I've seen

Plus never got big headed or obnoxious
This man is a hell of a lot more Australian with better aussie values and character than a lot who happened to be born here

No one remains the champion forever we all grow older ang get that bit slower.
But to go out as he did defeated but not beaten has to be every fighters dream

    Well done Kostya

I don’t mind growing old, it sure beats the alternative.

Isnt it great to get some positive feedback about both of these fighters, if it was cricket we would have got the excuse that the opponent was chucking!

Kostya took me back to a time when sport was a gentleman's activity. I think his attitudes and comments should be required study for all footballers, most cricketers and all upcomers.

A gracious winner and humble in defeat, we need to get back to this level of 'sportsmanship'.

Much better than grunting tennis players, a**hole fingering rugby guys, underarm bowlers....

Naaah, stuff him! lets bag him. I'll be standing right behind you, pointed the other way.

    Costya for PM!
