Posted in hand tools but also applies here ..
Hey guys,
I want to make a box for the wife to put things in in the kitchen. Very small 350 x 150 x 100. The materials i have to hand are hoop pine & merbau. Will attempt handmade dovetails and hopefully come up with a nice timber contrast and also give it a nice polish/wax finish.
Area of uncertainty related to this sub-forum what product to finish with (all I have at home is some ecowoodoil woodwipe but was thinking of trying shellac ?).Any advice/input for this novice appreciated.<!-- google_ad_section_end -->
