    Default Thanks to Woodwould

I have been busy using what little spare time I have lately building a gout stool similar to Woodwould's, using the pictures he posted when he built his. I managed to work it out and come up with a stool that Mrs Phil finds extremely comfortable for her legs.

I tried something different when I finished it, I sprayed two coats of garnet shellac (it left a nutty taste in my mouth, and Mrs Phil went ballistic at me for not wearing my protection) I then rubbed it back lightly with a grey scotch pad and rubbed a further two coats on it and then waxed it, the best finish I have ever done with shellac.

I made a few mistakes along the way but nothing that I could not fix. I am feeling satisfied with myself with the way it turned out especially that it helps Mrs Phil.

Very nice. I watched the Woodwould build and now to see another one built.
