New job
Hello all,
Just thought I'd let you know I am starting new job, woodwork related, on Monday. Very excited!
After 20yrs at a uni in the arts department (Vis arts and Theatre) I am leaving to take up the role of workshop supervisor at Cobb & Co Museum in Toowoomba. Its a well appointed facility with carriage building and wheelwrighting capabilities, with a smithy attached. It has public viewing areas, in addition to a great collection of horse drawn vehicles and such. There is an active workshop program including blacksmithing.
I'll let you know more about the work after I settle in, and post some photos of what goes on, but there is a website and Facebook page.
Cheers,Andy Mac

That is a great facility. I had a look at it a few years ago when we were up that way.
I had to check out what our business was named after.

It reminds me of the days when I was a blacksmith
at that establishment, but it was in the cafe there.
It was part time work, I got to "shoe" the flies
during Summer.
Hope the new venture works out well for you.
