yellow cedar & melaleuca follow up
pens3_Converted.jpgpens2_Converted.JPGpens1_Converted.jpgHi folks, Well curiosity got the better of me, and a few of you were interested in the out come of the melealeuca armillaris. so i microwaved a piece Here it is. The melaleuca looked pitch black when milled (pics in milling forum) really nice to turn but not the most interesting timber i've seen. some of the fiddle back may look ok. However the yellow cedar is the one that got me awesome to turn and looks fantastic definately some of the better timber in my collection. Hope the pics do it justice
