Viewing images
Hello, is there any setting that will allow the images to be displayed on my pages as large thumbnails, rather than as a link ?
regards,
Dengy

All the images are shown in my browser as thumbnails, not links. I am using Firefox 15.0.1, the latest version

Couldn't submit a link to an image from my/our blog, either by ticking the box or not to allow image to be stored and managed from this server. So had to revert to uploading one from computer.

I sent a PM and there was the option ... "restore auto-saved content"
I also accidentally did a blog post today, and the choices were "Post, ... something, save as a draft"
Just thought it was interesting that there is not a uniformity to the options across the aspects of the posting options ...
Any comment (admins)?
Thanks,
Paul

If the basis of my post is correct this will not work. I have tried 3 times this morning to respond to a thread. Each time when I submit reply the message is that my computer cannot connect to the forum. When I click the arrow in the top left hand corner it goes back to the forum. The text of the message is gone but the title remains.
What am I doing wrong?

I did not use Ispell to check this post. Could that be the problem.Last edited by whitewood; 30th September 2012 at 08:40 AM. Reason: add a comment

So, this Sunday forum outage....
Hi. Small tapatalk glitch. When reading the last 50 unread posts, & u get to the bottom of the last 50 unread posts, u can normally pull the screen down to load the next 50 unread posts. When u do this since the update u don't get a total of 100 unread posts, but 50 unread and the same 50 again!
Does that make sense? The voices in my head say it does!

When I click on my Notifications tab a small drop down box opens up, but I can't see what's in it as it opens behind the Woodwork Forums banner. IE8.

Maybe so, but I use IE8 and see no need to change

Fred, sorry if I seemed abrupt in my earlier post. Except for a couple of years in the late eighties, when I used Netscape, I have been using Internet Explorer in various versions. In the past 20 or so years I have had only one serious viral infection and that was my own fault for visiting a site that SWMBO would not have approved of
.
I now use IE8 and have no problems with it either security wise or speed wise. With the various version of vBulletin the compatabiliy mode tab was not enabled therefore I assume there were no issues between vBulletin and IE8. Since the upgrade the compatability mode tab has appeared and there are slight differences with the forum depending what mode I am using.
I don't believe that this is the forum to be discussing the pros and cons of the different browsers. I use what I use because I like it, I've tried Firefox and Chrome and I didn't like them.
I'm not criticising the forum, I'm just posting what I see in the hope that small problem like this can be rectified and everyone gets the best out of the forums. I don't blieve that I'm the only one having these issues, I'm probably the only one anal enough to to bother posting.

Thanks to Grumpy John I've just found another issue; the invisibility mode doesn't work!
.
I know you believe you understand what you think I wrote, but I'm not sure you realize that what you just read is not what I meant.
