Hi from Jonzjob
Just a quick hello from a lovely part of S France. Been here for 8 years now and loving it. I started making wooden toys when I had to take early retirement from IBM after screwing up my back at work. That was about 18 years ago. Not a good reason, but a great result! I started turning shortly after that and have been hooked on it ever since. I try to avoid joinery
I have been to Aussy and spent a month with my sis and family at Bulungarook Vic. They moved up to NSW to Lawrence a short while back, not been there..
I hope to be able to contribute as well as learn from here. If you would like to see the sort of things I do then feel free to have a lok at my web site. Nothing comercial, just a hobby. http://jonzjob.hpage.com

Hey hello John, what a surprise to welcome you on this wonderful forum, how is the good life in France, I didn't posted for a long time on the English forum, guess it has to do with the competions, as having my own projects. I'm glad to see you here, this is in my humble opinion the best forum on earth.
Best regards, Ad

Hi Ad, good to see that you are still making the wood chips fly!! The good life is still just as good, especially with the summer sun continuing. If I hadn't spent time in the workshop this afternoon I would have been in for a swim. Water temp is 28ºC at the moment.
I'm looking forward to having a look around on here to see what is happening?
Have fun,
John.
