Absolute bargain water based floor finish
Hi all,
I normally don't post but I have had much benefit from reading posts and wanted to contribute here a little.
Bunnies Vermont South has Timber Care brand Natrathane 10L water based floor varnish for $69 from $189. I got this on Friday 14th and just laid down the third coat about an hour ago on my hardwood floor. I haven't seen this at Bayswater Bunnies so I can only assume it is at Vermont South. They have gloss and satin. It is a very low viscosity product that was easy to apply with a lambs wool applicator such as you would use on a deck and a good brush for the edging. Doesn't smell too much, coverage is 8-14m^2/litre and recoat is 4-8 hrs.
A quick google search shows that Boscote bought the trade name Natrathane so I assume this is older stock from when Timber Care made it and Bunnies bought the remaining stock but can't get rid of it so is selling it at very cheap prices to get it out the door. If you ask staff there they probably won't know about it. It is at the end of the aisle where the varnishes are but not in amongst the Cabots, Intergrain etc.
Hope you get a bargain and a good result.
Cheers
Scott
