How to close off open rooms on a budget ??
Hi,
As we are expecting our 4th baby, we need to create extra rooms in our house. Our formal lounge and dining rooms will become a bedroom and playroom.
My issue is that I need to close these rooms off, but being an open style house, I am unsure of the best or more cost effective way to do it.
The openings are 2.4m high and 3.9m wide, the other is 2.4m high and 3.45m wide.
I am thinking of getting accordion doors made up but thought I would ask here first in case there are other options that may be better.
I think it would be too expensive to get someone in to build walls and door frames, etc...
They sell the accodion doors at Bunnings, but only 2m high, so my other thought was perhaps getting someone in to build bulkheads to compensate for the difference in height.
As we have other things to budget for before the baby's arrival (just after Christmas), I would really like to do this as cheaply as possible but also don't want it to look awful.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
