Re: Hornibrook Bridge - Finishing
Hey all,
I have been commissioned to produce a Hornibrook Bridge Grey Ironbark Dining Table. So I know this is a "ball-of-string" question, but looking for the best "Durable" finish.
Following the recent AWR article about finishing I would go 1x Wattly Poly+Tung as a sealer+ 3-6 coats Cabots Danish Oil depending on gloss level required. Sounds awesome, just not sure if that will give me a durable coat that I won't have to worry about (for several years at least).
Also considering Sikkens 1x HLS + 3x Cetol TFF.
Was also considering Porter's All Purpose Clear Sealer + 4-6 coats of ClearCote
Would really appreciate any advice etc people could give on this.
Cheers
