Lead Pill Justice
I'm an avid watcher of "The Bill". In last night's show the law/legal system failed with the perpetrator getting off scot-free... but then he was given a lead pill. Problem solvered with minimal cost.

I used to be a big fan of The Bill - back when it was all about putting someone in the frame, getting them bang to rights, nicking 'em and then having it all go pear-shaped.
It lost me when they started trying to compete with the Yanks."I don't practice what I preach because I'm not the kind of person I'm preaching to."

Al,
If Honey is a bloke it would almost be enough to make you change to the other side. It was a good show before they all went off the rails, its like a permanent dating agency rather than a cop show.

Going slightly off track, many years ago I was watching, now boys and girls, remember this, Division 4!!.
Our stoic detectives were being briefed on an outbreak of pornographic movies being distributed in Melbourne.
They were taken to the theatre/projection room and shown what to look for, AND THEY ALL LOOKED DISGUSTED.
Now that was acting at it's best.
I remember at the time I had some involvment in my work with the police and we received a letter.
There has been an influx of pornographic films in Melbourne and we wish to make relevant departments aware of the contents of this disgusting contraband.
A viewing will be held at XXXXXXXX at 7.30pm and you are invited to attend to represent your department.
There will be a fee of $5.00 to cover the cost of beer and pies.Stupidity kills. Absolute stupidity kills absolutely.

Yeah, I heard they filmed that scene first with real pornos but they had to change it to reruns of I Love Lucy to try and get some realistic looks of disgust.
