    Default Is this antique wood?

I wondered if this club lounge is antique?
I have taken a couple pics of the wood for you to see..it's rather light ( weight) so it can't be a hard wood ? You can see where there is a scratch/chip out of the wood.
I can most definatley take more pics if you need..
    Any help most appreciated.

The pictures don't really do anything in the identity area. But I would say its an asian import/reproduction.

There was lots of that chunky stuff in the late 70's.
Chunky wood and leather was all the go then.

I have Managed A Secondhand / Antique Dealer for close to A decade and I've never seen any such patterns on any on vintage / turn of the century pieces, I would concur with both of the others as to their age, mid the late 70's
