I'm not sure how this happened, but anyway the budget no longer accomodates a new shed . So here it is folks...I'm not sure where to put the DC??:confused:

I'm sure it looked bigger in the last photograph!!!

Dust collectors work well as cross-stitch lint collectors as well, so you could set it up over the cross-stitch frame for the time being!

Nice new machine like that won't break too often so you'll have the shed in no time!

Al, she wants me to put it on the truck and bugger off to earn some cash. This is so I can get the laundry fixed which is a greater priority than the shed??. The things a good man will do for a good woman ( a little crawlin also goes a long way)

You obviously haven't been paying attention. The DC goes in a humpy. I had to modify my shed, you can do the same....

I've spent about 200 hours in a Bobcat over the last few months. All that bouncing around, I dont know how you do it full time. I prefer the Backhoe I think.

Nice machine though, I know how you feel buying that. How long did you just look at, then get a coffee and look at it, and then just look at it..... or maybe its just me who's a nutter.

Bruce, the excavator is only 5 1/2 tonne...do I still qualify?? And hopefully the PussyCat will bring us a shed or two!..filled with goodies.

2. I'm not really a fan of Bobcats but the little buggers bring in the dollars if IF you have the contacts. When you look at the $$$ a baby loader (which is actually faster and more capable) comes in the 120K bracket and will pull $75-$80/hour. The bobcat at half the price and less maintenance still pulls $65/hour. ($55/hour for BB members {blatant advertising}). Boban - I also build retaining walls so its not often I spend all day in the machine.

3. Three weeks of sleepless nights and bludging the facts around. Then this machine turned up with 1.5 hours on the clock (yes thats 1.5 hours) at something like 8K off the new price. I really wanted the aircon but a 4 in 1 bucket and some REAL (sand) tyres thrown into the deal did the trick. It can be hard work sifting through the market but the CAT was the only choice in the end due to my knees and the fact that I drive joystick controlled excavators a lot. (The CAT has no pedals for bucket control its all flybywire on the joysticks). The resale value of CAT is considerably better too. There is a lot of good low hour machines out there but...whatever turns your crank I suppose. The CAT is probably not the best Bobcat on the market, that crown likely rests with Toyota and Mustang, but it has a hell of a lot going for it.

I'm glad the deal is signed and can't wait to pick it up on Monday when the new tyres are on. I had to finance half of this machine and wanted to keep the house out of it so I was really happy when I got it sorted.

I'll probably never own another brand spankers machine so I'm going to enjoy this. (But I really need a shed )

Yeah thats going to be a bit expensive. Here's another option...how about we negotiate on the mobilisation costs. Im thinking you could cut the machine up into pieces and post it across (I'll pay for the stamps). Once all the pieces are in Adelaide you can post yourself across (dont forget to put a few air holes in the box) and we can reassemble the machine and start on the job. I wont be ready to do the job till october so timing should work out nicely.
