I have been using firefox to view these fora for a few weeks an have noticed that when pictures are inserted into posts using HTML,like this http://www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com...ad.php?t=17457 (thanks MP), they dont show up on my browser. I have the lateset version (1.0.4) installed.
I know the pics are there cos they show up in mozilla or IE
Has anyone else had this problem or know what might cause it?

Works fine for me - never had a problem with Firefox and this site. Maybe you could do a search on the vBulletin website under firefox and see if anyone else is reporting the same prob?

    Cheers

FF, also ver 1.0.4 works fine for me on this forum and the pics in the link you've posted appear with no problems. You haven't inadvertentley blocked images
    from here have you?

    Cheers,

Are you using a plugin to filter out naughty pictures? If so, it may be blocking images with urls containing, say, 'wood' - which has other more unsavoury meanings (I'm told).

    Hi ya Mingus,

Go to the tool bar at the top of your browser.
Click on; Tools > Options > Web Features, to the right of 'Block Popup Windows' is 'Allowed Sites'. Just add "www.woodworkforums.ubeaut.com.au" & you should be OK

    Hope this helps
    Cheers

    Thanks major

It wasn't the popup blocker, but it was the "load images"-"from originating wbsite only" option on the same tab. I spent aqges looking for an option like that but couldn't find it!!
