    Default White Frost

    Hey all,

I have just finished a Jarrah entertainment unit. After sanding to a 600 grit finish, I oiled it with Danish oil and then applied Organoil wax. This was approx 2 weeks ago now. In this time a white "frost" has appeared on the unit and thinking it was a wax build up (which still could possibly be) I tried buffing it but to know avail. Any suggestions?? I have just purchased a Birregurra Surface remover to try and remove this possible build-up and then use the Birregurra wax. Would this work??

Wipe the wax off a small area with turps. If the frost disappears, it's the wax. Clear wax sometimes glazes like that, especially during cold weather. How IS the weather down there in Melbourne, End Grain? It's sunny as usual in Brisbane.

    JB,

Thanks for the reply . Typical Melbourne weather here, 4 seasons in one day, weather not quite as nice as Brissy.
All right chaps... back to work!
