    Default Bunnings Price Match

I learnt something new on Saturday.

When Bunnings have those orange tags on items with reduced prices, that is because one of their competitors has a special on with that item at the reduced price.

If you look along the bottom of the tag, there are three sets of numbers. The numbers on the right are the date that the price will be on special until.
They laughed when I said I was going to be a comedian. They're not laughing now.

I found out a couple of weeks ago that Bunnings (Vic) have dropped from 15% back to the original 10%.

Baught a new hose and price matched 15% against Mitre 10 Mega, then went back a couple of weeks later to get another one and found it was only 10%.

I've noticed that there can be a huge difference in price on vairous items between Bunnings and Mitre10.

eg Triton biscuits $43ish to Bunnings $60ish
Irwin 210mm saw blade $43.75 to Bunnings $51.25 (or $49ish at another)

If you have time, pays to compare.
To err is human, to really stuff up requires a computer!
