    Sorry to see both pieces of damage Pat, certainly "good wood ruined" and sadly it looks like a combination of the wood structure, thickness and the burnishing process. I have been thinking about a full face mask myself but they always fog up, attract dust and generally get in the way. It is a problem and maybe one of those full face respirator jobos might be the best solution. I assume your hands would have been pretty close to the action too. Hope the snoz comes good quickly and you can get back into action.
