Grumpy, Happy birthday, I had my 76th yesterday , congratulations on your jump. I can't look over the side of a tall building, vertigo takes over, I can't explain why, I think the adrenalin just controls me and I have to back off.

My cousin took it up for a while. Her husband refused to join her. He's an ex-paratrooper and argued that he was paid to do it then.
    cheers,

Default Another one crossed off the list

I crossed another challenge off the bucket list yesterday. I did a bungy jump at A.J. Hackett while on holiday at Cairns. I was OK untill I stood on the platform and then I just froze. I was convinced that I would hit the roof of the building, not the most graceful jump but I did it .

I tried to upload the video, but got an error message. I'll try to upload the vid when I getback home.

Something I could never do either. But I bet you can't get the grin poff your face for 2 weeks.

Heights are strange. I can go up in an aeroplane, a glider or a balloon but being within sight of an edge tends to cause a certain set of sphincter muscles to close violently.

My bucke list is much more mundane:

    # Treck through the Attacama desert.

    # Journey across the Sahara form Marakesh to Timbuctoo

    # See the great migraton across the Serengeti.

You have more balls than I Grumpy, think I'd do a little wee in my pants if I did that. Like your facelift on the parachute jump, most impressive.
