Procedure for hanging new solid wood door in steel frame???
whats the procedure for the best way from go to whoa for hanging a solid wood door from the shop to painted and finished??
I am replacing an outdoor steel frame set in 200 series block that is rusted, i have a new door to replace the totally stuffed door thats in it now. its an outdoor toilet door.
How do i go about making the new door fit and painting it all up??
I cant measure off old door as the frame is getting replaced and maybe different size plus the old door is that stuffed its beyond measuring anything off of.
like do you do something like this?
measure the door frame for squareness and cut the new door to suit the frame with a 3-4mm gap around the sides and 10mm at the bottom, mount it and make sure it fits, remove then paint bottom, refit then drill door lock holes and then paint the rest??? or what is the go??
