Default Hello from the Perth hills

    Hello and happy Easter everyone.

I am based in the beautiful Perth hills (well I think they are beautiful). I live on a 1/2 acre suburban block upon which one previous owner thoughtfully built a decent sized shed. The boss didn't complain when I told her that the shed was mine

I had intended to use the shed for other things, but I rediscovered my love of woodworking a few years ago as a way of dealing with grief. The last couple of years it has taken a back seat to my other "hobby" martial arts. One day just after Christmas I was bored and was looking for something to read when I picked up a couple of older editions of Fine Woodworking and the spark was rekindled.

Over the intervening years the shed has come to look like a bomb has hit it. I am working on a few projects to clean up and organise the shed so that I can resurrect previous plans to build some an entertainment unit and end tables for the lounge room.

With luck I'll have them built this year so the boss can give me more things to build next year.

Welcome to the forum. Just one task at a time and everything gets completed.

You might get some ideas from the shed subsection on this forum.

    Thanks for the welcome.

@Christos I hear you about one task at a time. It certainly is an exercise in patience at the moment

    Hello from the lowlands.

Nice view you woulda had this morning ... white fluffy carpet as far as you can see?

(We had a pretty unusual fog up to 7am-ish)

Enjoy the forum - it's the best thing including sliced bread.
