Advice needed on where to lay ag pipe?
Hi All,
This is my first time posting so I hope I've put it in the right place.
Basically I'm putting in new drainage to deal with the amount of water that ends up in our property (from the three properties that border us higher up on the hill) whenever there's a heavy downpour (which has been quite a bit over the past year here in QLD!).
I'm confident enough in how to install (i.e. trench depths, etc), however, I can't seem to find any information on how far from a retaining wall and/or slab I should dig the trench(s). I've had one suggestion of .5m but the source isn't 100% reliable.
Also, I'm planning to lay ag pipe down either side of the yard to a pit then into the storm water pipe, however, would a single pipe down the centre of the yard basically do the same job?
Any advice would be very gratefully appreciated.
Cheers,
Sam
