G'day everyone
Yep - another newbie to the forum, although I have been reading it on and off for a couple of years. I am a very amateur woodworker, gaining my interest when young from my very handy father, and passing this on to my son who is a chippie. He has 'acquired' many of my tools, so now that I am semi-retired from years in an office job I am slowly getting together some of my favourite hand and power tools with the aim of regaining all those years lost without building anything. Right now I am restoring an old red cedar meat safe to get my hand back in. I lived for years in Melbourne but after remarrying (to a most understanding wife - I recently bought her a new sewing machine so I am right to buy myself some essential tools) I am now in Ballarat.
Great forum - I now read it every day.
Cheers,
Ian
