Hi all
I have just stumbled across this website. To give a brief rundown, I moved my house about 18 months ago after getting flooded twice in 2 years, the second resulting in the whole house being gutted & replaced. The floors were the last to be done of course & I have never really been into polished floors & always thought mine were too badly damaged to be able to polish, but looked into it, got a quote, & the price difference in polishing to floor coverings won me over & off they went. The end results were brilliant & I was really happy.Unfortunately the filler, or putty is now breaking up & falling out of the holes & imperfections. What can anyone suggest that I could use to fill the large insome places, gaps that would be long lasting??
Cheers Julie

G'Day & Welcome Julie to a top forum.
Sorry to hear your flood experience.
On the floor issue, sounds like a warranty job & I'd get the blokes who did the work back as ours has lasted for years.
Also have a look at the sister forum of this one, specializing in renovations.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork.
Cheers, crowie
