Quick lesson needed in Flashing windows
Well I think one of the reasons for the rot in this walls weatherboards and the borer in the floor may have to do with the lack on any flashing around the windows.
Now that the braceply is up and sealing the walls I need to reinstall the cheap window as a temporary measure.
The wall will eventually be battened out and clad with a durable substance but will have to stand alone "AS-IS" for a few months
Is it OK to use aluminium as temporary measure or should I add the battens now with the flashing underneath and trim to fit or as advised
